On a deliciously hot and wildly windy afternoon in the Columbia River Gorge, Courtney and Jimmy arrived with a small posse of their family for a cliffside ceremony overlooking the river. The Gorge is notorious for unpredictably stunning summer days with epic wind, and as we crested the hill, we all had our breath sucked away for a moment as we got hit with a gust. The ceremony looked absolutely marvelous, full of vibrant blue sky and river, smiles and laughter, inside jokes, movie-grade flowing hair moments, and incredible vows.

Just after, we retired to a shady spot out of the wind for toasts and family portraits, then ran off to a summery patio dinner in Hood River. Before the sunset settled in, Courtney and Jimmy visited one of the Gorge’s best waterfalls, soaking in the mist and thunder.
