I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.
– J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings
On a bright summer morning, Lisa, Derek and their family hiked through lava beds and forest to a magical waterfall. Misty droplets swirled down around them as they exchanged their vows, Lisa looking like an elven princess with her glorious golden hair, and Derek gazing at her in a way that makes your heart flutter a little faster.

Later in the day, we wandered the wilds of Cape Perpetua. We visited a hundreds-year-old tree, hiked through ferns and sunbeams, and ended the evening out on the craggy coastline at high tide. As the sunset faded to silver, we listened to the giant booms of waves crashing into the rocks we stood on. What a magnificent variety of landscapes and Oregon magic to celebrate Lisa and Derek’s day!
